The Community Planning Guide for Aquatic Sport is a resource document designed to assist aquatic sport clubs and municipalities to better understand the roles of the various agencies and how to best utilize the resources before them in meeting the goal of more sport for everyone.

Section One: Aquatic Sport Support Organizations: lists the various Aquatic Sport Organizations (provincially and nationally) and discusses each organization’s roles and responsibilities.

Section Two: The Role Of The Municipality: defines a Master Plan and describes the Master Planning Process. Provides insight into how Aquatic Sport Clubs can become involved in the process.

Section Three: The Role Of The Aquatic Sport Club: discusses how Aquatic Sport Clubs function and provides training times needed for each aquatic sport that can be used as a guide in planning pool allocation in a municipality.

Section Four: Working As A Collective Of Aquatic Sport Stakeholders At The Community Level: details how a municipality and aquatic sport club(s) can work together to maximize pool use.
